The last long weekend of summer:)

Happy Friday!!

I love when Labor Day weekend comes, and not just because the kids go back to school. I just love autumn, the cool nights, the smells, fall fairs....I could go on and on.

A couple of cottage pics for you today. Jake came up for a quick overnight visit this year to have some fishing time with Jeff. Beautiful sunrises, and sunsets on Skeleton Lake, a slice of heaven.

I have been terribly busy since we got back from the cottage! Adam Sedlak arrived from Czech the same day we got home, and hockey training camp started as well. Posting on my blog has been impossible, but I think that things will settle down in a few weeks. He is such a great kid, and we are all enjoying getting to know him.
Daughter Jess starts her last year of college on Tuesday so we will be getting her books (yikes...the price of those books are terrible) and her bus pass today. Some pics of the cottage, and Jeff and Adam fishing. Jess managed to stay out of that one, I guess cause she was holding the camera.

Our first Sunday dinner with son Jake and daughter-in-law Kerri, Jess, Adam, and hubby Jeff.

Remember that my giveaway is still going on, you have until dinner time September 1st to enter...just post a comment on the post BELOW THIS ONE:)

Another great giveaway going on in blogland, over at Tomatoe Creek Prims:

Trudy! There you are!! I was getting a bit worried about you and was hoping it was something fun and not a health crisis that was keeping you busy.

Love your pictures. The sunsets and the lake are beautiful and it's also nice to see a picture or two of your new houseguest.

I'm still waiting for fall. It was cooler last week but now, we're back in the furnace. Highs should be in the 90's for the next several days. Yuck.
