Cottage Charm Giveaway!

Kim, over at The Twice Remembered Cottage is having a huge second annual Cottage Charm Giveaway, with many bloggers joining in. I would encourage you to visit the link above if you would like to participate. There are a ton of bloggers out there who would love for you to put your name in a drawing for one of their prizes as well.

On May 31st, I will be drawing one name to win this handmade, hand dyed, pure vintage wool penny rug which is lined with a soft flannel on the back, and is lovingly hand stitched with blanket stitching. This is a bit prim, and also a bit cottagey...at least I think so:) Also included, are two black primitive candle holders, that will fit nicely in the center of this piece.

If you would like to enter my draw, then leave me a comment at the end OF THIS post ONLY, with your name, blog address, and email address if you are posting anonymously.

Feel free to add your email address to the blogarithm on the left hand side of my page. Then you will be notified when I add something to my blog.
I just wanted to say a big thanks, and hello to old and new bloggers that I visit and who visits me daily. I love to make new online friends, and I just love reading blogs, especially if they are about any of the things I like to make, or gardening, or cooking and baking,or decorating in the country or primitive style. For a relatively young (OK, forty eight isn't that young) Mom who has had to adjust to being home 24/7 for the past almost two years with heart problems, fibro, arthritis, and now newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis; the friends that I have met through my online rug hooking and penny rug groups, as well as blogland have kept me sane....and happy. I am so blessed to have you all...family, friends both local ones, and the ones that I haven't met in person yet.

Wooly hugs,
Trudy

  26. I don't have a blog, but I wanted to stop in and say hello anyway. I can relate to the staying home thing. I have RSDS that forced me to give up my teaching career after becoming 100% disabled with it. That was 7 1/2 years ago, and it's still so difficult not being able to work and do the things I used to do. So I can sympathize with the pain and frustration that comes along with chronic conditions.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you better through your blog. I took a very quick look through the first page, and there are some lovely photos. I love the bunny pic toward the end!!
