The Feather Tree

Here are a couple of pics of the feather tree that I made for my Aunt Carol. I made it to match the shamrock penny rug. The first container that I had glued it into was too small, so I brought it home and put it into this little white painted terracotta pot, with small river stones. I used a painting gel medium to hold the pebbles in place. It is still drying, so I haven't fixed the leaves or the stems yet. Aunt Carol loved it, and although I didn't make it to suit my taste, it turned out pretty nice!

I had one leftover branch, so I made a little 'feather' shrub for me:)
